Mandy Rice

Upon graduation from Central Michigan University with a computer science degree, Mandy Karns set her sights on Los Angeles to pursue her more creatively-based goals. She was able to get her foot in the door at Acme Talent & Literary in the commercials department, as head of the department at that time, Emily, spotted her knack for the business and essential attention to detail, early on.

During her heyday with Acme, she illustrated stellar organizational skills and technical acumen, both improving upon an already efficient and successful commercial team. Following in Brian’s footsteps and taking a proactive approach to her career, Mandy was able to start-up and head her own division devoted to representing dancers for TV, film and commercials.

In 2009, Mandy made the move to TalentWorks as Brian’s assistant and re-introduced her streamlined organizational systems, allowing both the commercial and theatrical departments to work hand-in-hand, alongside one another. Though the dance division was dissolved, Mandy was promoted to commercial agent and still continues to use her creative and administrative savvy to improve upon the commercial departments’ bottom line; a quality in which many of her talent have come to admire and appreciate.
