Agencies merge into TalentWorks

Co. to launch youth department in Gotham

By DANA HARRIS

HOLLYWOOD -- Sister agencies H.W.A. Talent Representatives of New York and Gold/Liedtke of Los Angeles have merged, with a name change for both: TalentWorks.

The strategic alliance between the two agencies began in 1998 when former H.W.A. agent Patty Woo moved from New York to work with Harry Gold and Bonnie Liedtke in Los Angeles.

Along with the name change comes the launch of a youth department in New York. Among the clients who have been launched by the Los Angeles-based youth division are Leonardo DiCaprio, Hilary Swank and Leelee Sobieski. Heading the new department is Los Angeles transplant Sheryl Lefkoe, a Liedtke protegee.

Among TalentWorks' clients are Leah Remini, William Shatner, Joe Morton and Wallace Shawn.
